UBEO Marks Seventh Acquisition with AmPan Acquisition

UBEO Business Services, which is based on Austin, Texas, and is a provider of printer, copier and document management solutions, has acquired AmPan Business of Port Neches for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition marks UBEO’s seventh acquisition since April 2018.

AmPan was founded in 1994 and is the original authorized Toshiba MFP dealer in the Golden Triangle area. “The opportunity to join the largest independent dealer in Texas is something you just don’t say ‘no’ to,” commented Greg Hunt, president of AmPan. “By joining UBEO, we have so many more tools in our toolkit. With all of the different manufacturers that they deal with, they’ve chosen the best of the best.”

While AmPan Business Systems is an UBEO company, it will continue operating under its existing name and will retain its leadership and employees.

The AmPan acquisition adds to UBEO’s operations across Texas, as well as in California and Louisiana. UBEO merged with Sentinel Capital Partners in April 2018, and seven months later acquired Ray Morgan Company, a regional leader in California. Co-headquartered in Austin and San Antonio, UBEO plans to broaden its staff, adding executives, as well as hundreds of sales positions.
