This Week in Imaging: Recycling Times Steals Copyrighted Content
Industry trade group, Recycling Times Media, which is based in China and represents the “remanufactured” toner-cartridge industry, has continued to illegally post entire copyrighted articles from Wirth Consulting without permission. Since my complaint to Recycling Times last week, some content has been adjusted, but not all.
Adding insult to injury, Recycling Times posted Wirth Consulting content that is only available with a paid subscription, distributing paid, copyrighted content on a free basis to others on its website without permission.
This theft continued a year after Recycling Times illegally posted Wirth Consulting copyrighted materials on its website. At that time, I did not pursue further action, and Recycling Times representative, David Gibbons assured me that the practice would stop. I have demanded appropriate restitution from Recycling Times, as is only fair seeing as this is SECOND time the company has stolen copyrighted content. Until then, this article will remain on this website.
