Samsung: How to Take the Rage out of Printing
Cryptic Interfaces
Perhaps just as important as a printer’s speed is its usability. The question is, does the printer make it easy for users to access key functions, or could its interface be described as anything but efficient?
Unlike other printers, which often feature interfaces that require a measure of guesswork, Samsung’s MFPs are navigated via the intuitive and customizable Smart UX Center.
Housed in a touchscreen display and powered by Android’s familiar, app-based interface, the Smart UX Center makes it easy to quickly access the settings, functions and documents you need.
Spotty Connections
Strong connectivity is another trait that modern businesses prize in their printers. A device that cannot offer users fast, reliable connections limits their ability to access and print the documents they need.
The MX7 features always-on connectivity and supports seamless connections. This is possible thanks to its 802.11ac-capable network chip, which is up to three-times faster than the previous (802.11n) standard, and Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity. Together, this one-two punch ensures that users won’t have to wait to link up to their printer and get to work.
Toner Troubles
Lastly, few things are more frustrating than running out of toner when you’re printing documents on a deadline.
Thankfully, the MX7 series and ProXpress M4560FX feature a variety of simple solutions to this pesky problem. Easy Eco Driver, for example, can help enterprises reduce toner usage by up to 20 percent by allowing users to remove images from printed documents, or convert them into less toner-heavy formats.
The Samsung Mobile Print app makes it easy to remotely view a connected printer’s toner status, and Amazon Dash Replenishment allows customers in certain regions to set their printers to detect when toner levels are low and automatically order replacement cartridges. The ProXpress M4560FX also features ultra-high yield toner and drum capacities (40,000 pages for the former, 100,000 for the latter), which allow businesses to cut down on replacements and lower TCO.
Don’t let reliably unreliable printers hold your business back. Embrace a printer that’s built for long-haul performance, and will allow your office to print with peace of mind.”
