Recycling Times Purchases Recharger Magazine

China’s Recycling Times Media reports that it’s purchased U.S.-based Recharger Magazine for an undisclosed sum from 1105 Media as part of Recycling Times’ strategy to expand its global reach with its existing English, Chinese, Spanish, and Korean publications.

Recycling Times Media will also own the RechargerMag.com Web site, which will gradually be relocated to the irecyclingtimes.com Web site.

Recharger Magazine has covered the printer-supplies remanufacturing businesses for more than 25 years. Recycling Times Media, organizers of RemaxAsia Expo, the largest international aftermarket cartridge trade show in the world in Zhuhai, China, has been publishing its global Recycling Times industry magazine since 2007.

Existing Recharger Magazine readers will have their current subscriptions honored for the full term with a hard copy magazine delivered to their postal addresses.

Recycling Times, which has held a World Expo for remanufacturers in Las Vegas for the last 17 years, is planning a new event for the remanufacturing industry, that it will organize and hold in North America.
