Pantum Launches New Elite Printer/MFP Models

On January 18th, Pantum, a division of Ninestar Corporation of Zhuhai, China, launched its new Elite Series. It says the Elite series is a premium product series available globally and consisting of six models that range from standalone printers to MFPs. The new BP5100DN will be the first to hit the market, beginning in Russia, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and North America, followed by other countries and regions.
Pantum holds the distinction of being the first Chinese manufacturer of Chinese-designed laser printers. In particular, Pantum printers feature metal framing for increased durability.
The firm says the new Elite Series completes the higher-end segment of its printer portfolio. As one of the fastest machines in Pantum’s current A4 product line, the new BP5100DN/BP5100DW is rated at up to 42 ppm with a First Page Out Time of less than 6.9 seconds. Maximum monthly print volume is 80,000 pages. There is also a 60-sheet paper tray, automatic duplex printing, and separate drum and toner units, as well as Pantum’s durable metal frame structure.
Other BP5100DN/BP5100DW features include one-click driver installation that enables users to set up the printers with a single click. There’s also mobile printing via a Pantum app, Apple AirPrint, and Mopria, plus there’s also a silent mode. Pantum says the printers are suitable for small and mid-size enterprises, enterprise work groups, and government users.
The company says it has a growing global sales network, and currently sells in dozens of countries and regions around the world.
