Pacific Office Automation to Distribute Kodak Digital Print Systems

On August 19th, Eastman Kodak Company and Pacific Office Automation (POA), said to be the largest office equipment dealer in the United States, announced an agreement under which Pacific Office Automation has become a key distributor of Kodak digital print solutions. Pacific Office Automation is based in Beaverton, Oregon, and has 31 locations and 1,200 employees across the Western United States. 

Complementing Kodak’s U.S. sales efforts, the companies say the collaboration will increase the accessibility of Kodak’s digital-print equipment including the KODAK NEXFINITY and KODAK PROSPER Presses to U.S.-based customers. Kodak equipment became available through Pacific Office Automation on August 1st.

Kodak’s says it digital print technology offers print quality and productivity that rivals offset, allowing commercial printers, publishers, packaging companies and others in the print industry to respond to the growing need for quicker turnarounds and greater customization. It also says products such as the KODAK NEXFINITY Digital Press and KODAK PROSPER Presses enable printers to increase their profit potential by delivering consistent, outstanding quality at a very low cost per page.
