Omtool to Provide Document-Capture and Workflow Solutions for Samsung Devices, Tablets, MFPs
Omtool, a provider of document-capture and workflow solutions, reports that it’s negotiated a strategic partnership with Samsung Electronics America, under which it will provide its document-capture and workflow software solutions for integration with Samsung scan-enabled devices and tablets, as well as Samsung MFPs. While designed for companies of all sizes and across a wide variety of vertical markets, the two companies say that in particular they’re targeting the legal sector, where they say document workflow and solutions continue to be of high importance.
AccuRoute is Omtool’s enterprise-class document capture and workflow platform that enables organizations to capture, process, and store document-centric content across their entire organization with integration into virtually any business application, content-management system, or cloud-based repository.

The Omtool and Samsung partnership also brings together the workflow capabilities of Omtool’s AccuRoute document-capture platform with Samsung’s enterprise-ready printers, MFPs, and Android-powered mobile devices to enable businesses to streamline their document workflows company-wide. While the suite of solutions provided by Omtool and Samsung can be applied across a wide range of industries, they will be highly focused on the legal market where Omtool has proven commitment with over 300 legal clients with document-driven solutions for matter-centric environments and specific workflows that include records management, mailroom automation, e-filing, and more. Omtool and Samsung will highlight their joint solution at the upcoming LegalTech Conference being held in New York February 4th-6th.
