New ScanStation2GO and HD ScanStation Repro Wide-Format Scanning Solutions from Contex

Maryland-based Contex, which makes wide-format scanning and imaging solutions, today announced the ScanStation2GO and HD ScanStation Repro scanning solutions, along with updated versions of its MFP Repro and MFP2GO solutions.

Built for walk-up scanning and copying, the ScanStation2GO packages Contex’s IQ 24″, 44″, and SD 36″ scanners into a user-friendly solution that integrates easily into work environments. For high-volume environments, the HD ScanStation Repro pairs the HD or HD Ultra scanner with Contex’s height-adjustable stand. Contex’s new stand also contributes to the improved integration of the company’s MFP Repro and MFP2GO solutions. The new scanning solutions are available immediately through Contex distributors and resellers.

From initial setup to subsequent imaging, Contex says the ScanStation2GO’s self-contained design and intuitive features enable users to easily scan, share, and copy technical documents. The solution features Contex’s new height-adjustable, low stand for an improved working experience. ScanStation2GO arrives ready-to-run with specially designed scanning and copying software embedded in the movable 10.1″ touchscreen 2GO controller. Through the controller, users can adjust images, as well as click on a one-touch button to scan to email, FTP, and network without the assistance of a computer or extra software. Users can also import images to tablets by scanning directly to USB.  The ScanStation2GO can also be easily to a large-format printer to transform into a side-by-side solution for copying.     

Contex says it further improves upon the capabilities of its scanning solutions with the launch of its HD ScanStation Repro and new stands for the MFP Repro and MFP2GO. Designed for productivity, the HD Scan Station Repro features the HD Ultra 42″ or HD 5450 wide-format scanner for superior image quality and speed. Contex’s adjustable low stand and Nextimage 4 Repro software build upon the scanner’s efficiency through the formation of a centralized imaging structure complete with technology enhancements. The adjustable high stand also expands the functionality of the MFP Repro and MFP2GO. With the inclusion of the stand, the MFP Repro and MFP2GO are now tall enough to fit over Epson SC printers and can be easily integrated into more work environments as consolidated MFP solutions.
