Lexmark Employee Killed in Terror Attack in Nice, France
Lexmark employee Sean Copeland, 51, a Lexmark employee, and his son, Brodie, 11, were killed in the terror attack that occurred on July 16th in Nice, France.
Jerry Grasso, who is with Lexmark’s corporate-communications department, released the following statement:
“Today, Lexmark is saddened to learn that our employee and friend, Sean Copeland, and his son, Brodie, were killed in the attack in Nice, France last night. Sean was not only a terrific leader in the company but a phenomenal person who will be dearly missed. Our hearts go out to Sean and his family, and for everyone who is suffering in France and elsewhere from this senseless violent act.”
According to Austin-American Statesman, Sean Copeland worked for Lexmark Corporation, as vice president of North and South America for Lexmark’s Kapow Software Division.
In Nice, France, a truck loaded with weapons and hand grenades drove onto a sidewalk for more than a mile, plowing through Bastille Day revelers who’d gathered to watch fireworks in the French resort city of Nice. At least 80 people were killed before police killed the driver.
