Keypoint Intelligence/Buyers Lab Sold to PE Firm
Atar Capital, a Los Angeles-based global private -equity firm, announced on October 10th that it had completed the acquisition of Keypoint Intelligence/Buyers Lab, for an undisclosed sum.
Headquartered in Fairfield, New Jersey, with offices in the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, and Japan, Keypoint Intelligence is built upon two brands: Buyers Lab and InfoTrends, the latter of which Buyers Lab acquired in 2015. SFW Capital Partners acquired Buyers Lab in 2011 from owners Michael Danziger and Mark Lerch.
Atar Capital says it specializes in “corporate divestitures and complex carve-outs” across a wide range of industries and geographic markets. Commenting on this latest acquisition, Cyrus Nikou, founder and managing partner of Atar Capital, said, “Keypoint Intelligence is a new platform for Atar Capital. Nikou led the Atar investment team that included senior managing director Robert Lezec and managing directors Stanley Huang and Vijay Mony. Raymond James served as financial advisor for the acquisition.
