Imaging Supplies Coalition Elects New Leadership
On June 17th, the Imaging Supplies Coalition for International Intellectual Property Protection (ISC) announced that it had elected a new chairman of the board, new officers, and a new board appointment at the organization’s annual meeting held June 13, 2019.
The non-profit ISC was founded in 1994 to combat counterfeiting and patent-infringement of supplies used in printers and copiers, such as toner and ink cartridges. Members include Canon Inc, Brother International, Epson, HP Inc., Lexmark International, and Xerox.
Praveen Kallayil, WW Brand Protection Manager at HP Inc., was named chairman of the board. He succeeds Alf Andersen, contract attorney for Epson. Andersen, who recently retired from Epson, announced his retirement from the ISC.
Commenting on the election, Allen Westerfield, president of the coalition said, ” Our new Chairman, Praveen Kallayil, brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to the chair and we look forward to continuing to build on our programs and initiatives under his leadership.”
