Fujifilm Expands Revoria Press E1 Series with New High-Speed Model
Fujifilm Business Innovation Asia Pacific today launched the Revoria Press E1136P, a monochrome production printer for on-demand printing.
The company says that this latest addition to the Revoria Press E1 series, and now all models of the Revoria Press E1 series introduce new options, including the ability to connect two units for dual operation of the High Capacity Feeder and the Air Suction Feeder, enabling continuous mass printing.
Additionally, the optional Print Inspection System provides automated quality checks during the printing process, ensuring that defects on the printed materials are promptly detected.
Sales of the Revoria Press E1136P and the new options for all models of the Revoria Press E1 series will begin November 7th across the Asia Pacific region.
Since its release in 2021, Fujifilm says the Revoria Press E1 series has had positive feedback from users, establishing itself as a solution for on-demand print businesses across various sectors, particularly in commercial printing and production environments for producing marketing materials, manual, reports, direct mail, and corporate documents for centralized in-house printing departments in corporations.
Key features of the Revoria Press E1 series include:
- The latest model, Revoria Press E1136P enables the connection of two units of the High Capacity Feeder and the Air Suction Feeder, as well as the High Capacity Stackers. This new continuous paper feeding option reduces the frequency of paper replenishment during large-volume printing, facilitating extended periods of operation.
- Print Inspection System: This advanced system is compatible with all models in the Revoria Press E1 series. It automatically inspects printed materials in real-time, comparing scanned images against original RIP data to detect defects such as small as 0.3 mm. The system identifies issues such as dots, stains, pinholes, streaks, dog ears, registration misalignment, and variations in color density. It also ensures the readability of printed bar codes and OCR fonts, confirming that the numbers are sequential and numbers on side 1 and side 2 match.
- The printer provides alerts for color variation and front-to-back misalignment during the printing process, enabling operators to maintain consistent print quality. By automatically identifying and reprinting defective materials, the system is said to significantly reduce the operator’s workload and saves time.
Other features include:
- Prints at up to 136 ppm with 2,400 dpi output resolution with Fujifilm’s EA-Eco LGK toner, which is said to feature “extremely small” toner particle sizes for enhanced image quality.
- The feeder accommodates a range of paper thicknesses, from thin paper at 52gsm to thick paper at 350gsm. Additionally, the paper tray is compatible with various sizes, from small formats of 100 x 148 mm to banner sheet measuring 330.2 x 660.4 mm.
- A versatile in-line post-processing lineup is available for paper-folding, saddle stitching, three-way trimming, and saddle-stitching with square back finishing.
- Simple Image Quality Adjustment (SIQA) feature automatically corrects image quality by scanning a calibration chart, thereby improving the efficiency of image quality corrections.
- Copy and scan are also included.
