Fujifilm Business Innovation Launches New Compact A3 Copier/MFPs
Fujifilm Business Innovation Asia Pacific today launched 10 new A3 copier/MFPs, the color Apeos C2060/C2560/C3060 series and monochrome Apeos 2560/3060/3560 series. The new MFPs are designed for small to mid-size businesses and are said to provide strong security, compact size, cost optimization, and scalability.
The firm says the new models were designed with an eye for hybrid working, supporting employees either working at home or in the office, with secure information sharing at any time.
The new models provides optional scanning workflow and cloud services for scanning and storing documents in the cloud, such as Microsoft OneDrive and Sharepoint Online, Google Drive, Box, Evernote, Dropbox, and Fujifilm’s Working Folder.
Print speed is rated at up to 30 ppm (color/monochrome) for the color models, and up to 35 ppm for the monochrome models.
Security
The new models also comply with the U.S. security standard NIST SP800-171, which ensures the safety of network connections and the prevention of data leakage from storage devices installed in the printers. U.S. security standard NIST SP800-171 consists of security standards stipulated by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and is mandated by the U.S. Department of Defense for its suppliers.
They also support a new protocol, WPA3, which enhances security for wireless local area networks. Other security includes user authentication and permissions, audit log, signature verification of software, remote update restrictions, hard-drive data encryption, and encrypted scan transmission.
Mobile Interface
The Fujifilm Business Innovation Print Utility mobile app for mobile print provides a virtual user interface on Apple iOS and Android smartphones, so users can set job settings for copy, print, scan, and fax from their smartphones.
There’s also a 7″ touchscreen with one-touch workflows, and iOS and Mopria mobile printing.
Other Features
Other features include additional paper trays and Workflow and Print Management systems. Optional document finishing includes a staple-free finisher for binding up to 10 sheets of paper without staples.
