Fujifilm Business Innovation Launches High-Volume A3 Color Printer
Fujifilm Business Innovation Asia Pacific today announced a new addition to its A3 fleet, the ApeosPrint C5570, A3 Color Printer, which it says features enhanced security and performance, and is for higher-volume printing.
The ApeosPrint C5570 is compliant with the U.S. security standard NIST SP 800-171 and adopts a new protocol, WPA3, for stronger security of wireless LANs and enhancement of program diagnostics during device startup. The printer is also installed with a security chip, TPM (Trusted Platform Module) 2.0, that complies with the latest encryption standards developed by the Trusted Computing Group (TCG), an international standards organization. Fujifilm says the printer is built to provide users with optimal secure network connection and prevention of data leakage.
Users can also print from virtually anywhere with the printer’s support for Universal Print by Microsoft, a cloud-based print solution that eliminates the need for print servers and the need to install print drivers. Data transmission also uses highly secured HTTPs protocol, and documents stored on the devices are limited to individual user logins.
Print speed is rated at up to 55 ppm at 1,200 x 2,400 dpi resolution.
Optional Document Sources and Document Finishing
For high-volume printing, there’s the newly introduced high-capacity paper feeder, the B2, which supports up to 6,140 sheets. The ApeosPrint C5570 also supports a wide variety of paper sizes and types, such as long paper of up to 320 x 1200mm for In-house promotional materials, and paper weight of 52 to 300 gsm, as well as lightweight media, cardstock, postcards, and envelopes.
The optional staple-free finisher can bind up to 10 sheets. For usability, there’s a 5″ color touchscreen, and paper trays are equipped with a retraction mechanism for smoother opening and closing.
