Fujifilm Business Innovation Expands Sales Distribution in Southeast Asia

Fujifilm Business Innovation of Japan and the GME Group announced today a partnership agreement for Graphic Machinery and Equipment (GME) Group to distribute Fujifilm-brand office printers in the Southeast-Asian country of Bangladesh.

Fujifilm stated that Bangladesh is the first country among the new territories where it will be launching its own brand of office printers, the ApeosPrint C325 dw and Apeos C325 z A4 desktop MFPs.

With the ending of its Technology Agreement with Xerox in 2020, Fujifilm is now able to sell office and production print equipment in territories outside of Asia Pacific that were once exclusive Xerox sales territories, including Europe and North and South America. Xerox can now also sell in Fujfilm’s once-exclusive Asia-Pacific territory. Previously, after failing in an attempt to acquire Xerox, the Fujifilm Group purchased Xerox’s share in the jointly-owned Fuji Xerox, thus obtaining 100-percent ownership of Fuji Xerox, which this year it rebranded as Fujifilm Business Innovation.

GME Group

The GME Group of Bangladesh will begin selling the Fujifilm models in December 2021. In the past – for about 40 years – GME also partnered with the Fujifilm Group to sell Fujifilm medical equipment, and is now expanding to office printers.

Initially, GME will be selling the Fujifilm A4 ApeosPrint C325 dw and Apeos C325 z, but will also expand to sell Fujifilm’s A3 copier/MFPs.
