Former GIS President Cooper Appointed to Continuum Board of Advisors

Continuum, which provides solutions for managed IT service provides, recently reported that it’s appointed Dan Cooper, managing partner of Jamcoop LLC and chairman of Terrell’s Office Solutions, to its board of advisors.

Cooper joined Xerox  company Global Imaging Systems (GIS) subsidiary, Electronic Systems (ESI), in 1999 and was appointed to president in 2000. Under his leadership, ESI, an early pioneer in providing managed IT services, grew to into a  $160 million company and one of the largest within the portfolio of Global Imaging Systems – now itself known as Xerox Business Solutions.

In 2005, Cooper was promoted to the headquarters of GIS, where he was responsible for overseeing 41 companies across the United States that included $2 billion in revenue. He retired from GIS as president in August 2018. Prior to joining ESI, he spent 10 years with Danka Industries, where he served as a regional general manager responsible for sales, operations, and customer support.
