Epson Launches Next-Gen ‘Supertank’ All-in-Ones for Work-from-Home and Home Offices

Epson America today announced new EcoTank refillable, cartridge-free color inkjet All-in-Ones that are designed for home offices and work-from-home.

The new models consist of the EcoTank ET-2800 ($199.99 MSRP), EcoTank ET-2850 ($299.99 MSRP), EcoTank ET-3830 ($379.99 MSRP), EcoTank ET-3850 ($399.99 MSRP), and EcoTank ET-4850 ($499.99 MSRP). They’re available now through major computer, office and electronic retailers, and at the Epson store (www.epsonstore.com). The EcoTank ET-4800 ($259.99 MSRP) is available through Walmart and Target.  All models feature a two-year limited warranty with registration, including unit replacement.

Epson also noted that it’s the number-one “Supertank” inkjet-printer vendor, and has shipped over 60 million Supertank units.

Maria Kisska, group product manager for Epson America Consumer Inkjet, commented: “We’ve launched a new generation of our best-selling, most popular EcoTank portfolio to continue meeting the day-to-day printing needs of families and professionals, and reducing the ongoing worry of running out of ink and the high-cost of replacement ink.”

The new EcoTank all-in-one printers offer cartridge-free printing with high-capacity, refillable ink tanks for zero ink-cartridge waste. Epson says users can save up to 90 percent with replacement ink bottles versus traditional ink cartridges, and that each replacement ink set for the new EcoTank printers is equivalent to about 90 individual ink cartridges, enough ink to print thousands of pages. 

The new models are bundled with up to two years of ink. Replacement ink sets are also said to provide up to two years worth of ink. The black T502 ink bottle lists at $19.99, while each T502 cyan, magenta, and yellow ink bottle lists at $12.99.

The new models also use Epson’s heat-free PrecisonCore inkjet print-head technology that’s said to provide sharp text and impressive color and graphics on virtually any paper type. Other features  include a high-resolution flatbed scanner, color display for easy navigation, hands-free voice-activated printing, and wireless connectivity so that users can print from smart devices with the Epson Smart Panel App.
