Canon Latin America Being Merged into Canon U.S.A.

January 5, 2015 – Canon U.S.A. reports that it’s merging Canon Latin America into Canon U.S.A. Canon Latin America’s corporate operations will be integrated into the Canon U.S.A.’s Latin America Group located in the Canon Americas headquarters in Melville, New York. Canon U.S.A. says this change will better enable it to leverage corporate resources and infrastructure, and better serve the needs of customers and dealers within these markets.
“At Canon, one of our key growth strategies is to leverage the momentum and expand our business in Latin America,” commented Joe Adachi, chairman and CEO of Canon U.S.A.. “We believe the shift in operations will offer more resources to assist future growth for our business partners in the Latin American market. “
As for logistics, the operation will remain in Miami, Florida, and will be operated by the Canon U.S.A. Logistics division.
