Benchmark Business Acquisition Marks Visual Edge’s Seventh Acquisition this Year

Visual Edge Technology reports that it’s completed its acquisition of Benchmark Business Solutions, a U.S. independent office-solutions and document-management dealer, for an undisclosed sum. This marks Visual Edge’s seventh acquisition in 2017 and 17th over the past several years.

Benchmark provides sales and service of Xerox copier/MFPs, MBM finishing equipment, Square 9 office-solution software, Print Smart, managed print services, and IT/MNS solutions. Visual Edge says the Benchmark acquisition will give Visual Edge coverage across Texas, with 11 branch locations, and in New Mexico with one branch locations.

Jeff Horn, President of Benchmark, stated, “In a rapidly consolidating industry, it is extremely important for us to operate from a stronger competitive position, while remaining an independent business within the Visual Edge Office Solutions family.’

Benchmark has been serving Texas and New Mexico in the office solutions and managed provider service industries since 1994. Horn and his senior management team will continue in their current capacity in leading the company. Benchmark Business Solutions is headquartered in Lubbock, Texas.

Also earlier in October, Visual Edge Technology acquired AXSA, Inc., for an undisclosed sum. AXSA is a U.S. independent office-solutions and document-management dealer. It provides sales and service of HP Page Wide products across the southeastern U.S and Samsung MFPs, assorted office solution software, managed print services, and IT/MNS solutions in Central Florida.
