New Toshiba A3 Models Said to Feature Compact A4 Size
Toshiba America Business Solutions today expanded its e-STUDIO MFP line with the introduction of five ledger-size (A3) black-and-white models designed for small-to-mid-size businesses (SMBs), which start at $2,195 and are available through authorized Toshiba resellers.
The new models consist of the e-STUDIO2822AM, e-STUDIO2822AF, e-STUDIO2823AM, e-STUDIO2329A and e-STUDIO2829A, all of which provide print, copy, and scan, with the e-STUDIO2822AF also providing fax.
TABS rates the new models at up-to 28 ppm at 2,400 x 600 dpi resolution. They also scan color documents at up to 22 ppm.
The company notes that in particular, the new models are well-suited for businesses such as logistics, manufacturing, and retail that require A3 but also need compact A4 size. The systems provide ledger-size support via the 50-sheet built-in bypass for jobs requiring larger media.
Users may customize these models by adding the Wi-Fi connectivity option that turns the networked MFPs into an access point. When coupled with the new e-BRIDGE Print & Capture Entry app, Apple iOS and Android users may print-to and scan-from Toshiba MFPs to their mobile devices.
The e-STUDIO2823AM features a 600-sheet capacity, while paper capacity for the e-STUDIO2329A and e-STUDIO2829A may be expanded up to 1,700 sheets with optional paper sources. There’s also a 17,500-page toner yield and 64,000-page periodic maintenance interval.
Toshiba notes that its product portfolio complies with the company’s commitment to reducing environmental impact by meeting the criteria of major environmental standards and certifications including EPEAT Gold, Restriction of Hazardous Substances (or RoHS) and ENERGY STAR.
