New Program Seeks to Convert Dealers from HP to Clover Supplies
In a move not likely to please the folks at HP Inc., yesterday, the Clover Imaging Group introduced a new partner program designed to switch customers from HP to Clover toner cartridges. With Clover’s Silver Bullet program, dealers will receive up to 30-percent off their current pricing when they convert accounts that purchase HP imaging supplies to Clover’s remanufactured printer cartridges.
The program comes on the heels of HP reporting lower printer-supplies revenue and an announcement that it will work to gain back market share from third-party suppliers. That hasn’t deterred companies like Clover however.
“In today’s competitive market, dealers are looking for an edge. Clover’s Silver Bullet program is the newest in our comprehensive line-up of partner solutions to help dealers enhance their profitability and gain market share, while providing their customers with additional value,” said Eric Martin, president of Clover.
To participate in the program, dealers sign up for the program and convert their OEM buying accounts to Clover. Clover says that dealers secure immediate discounted pricing– not rebates. Clover also says that when dealers’ customers make the switch to Clover cartridges, “they receive better value, an uncompromising print experience, and superior environmental sustainability.”
Clover also says its printer cartridges were recently third-party tested by Buyers Laboratory (BLI) and that “in every printer that was tested, the Clover cartridge measured up favorably with the HP brand cartridge in reliability, image quality, and pages produced. In fact, with 54 cartridges tested, Clover’s average continuous yield numbers exceeded HP’s stated yields across all cartridge types.”
Dealers who sign up for the Silver Bullet program are also eligible for preferred pricing on lead-generating marketing services and access to best-in-class technical and training services offered under the Clover Imaging Group umbrella of partner solutions.
