Samsung UK Enables Amazon Dash Toner Replacement for Samsung Printers and MFPs
Samsung Electronics UK today announced the availability of Amazon Dash Replenishment-enabled printers in the United Kingdom. With Amazon Dash Replenishment, when compatible Internet-connected Samsung printers and copier/MFPs detect low toner levels, they send notifications to Samsung Cloud Print that are then relayed to Amazon for automatic purchasing of replacements. The cartridges are then automatically shipped to the customer and the customer is billed for the new supplies.
Customers, including small and mid-size businesses using Samsung printers and MFPs, can sign up for Amazon Dash Replenishment from the Samsung Mobile Print app and Samsung Easy Printer Manager (EPM). Samsung EPM is a PC software that provides various print-management functions in one system. Using the Samsung Mobile Print app and EPM, customers can also monitor the toner levels of their printing devices in real-time.
Amazon introduced Amazon Dash Replenishment in the United States in February 2016. It’s now available for various Samsung home office printers and MFPs, including the Samsung SL-C430W, SL-C480FW, SL-M2835DW and SL-M2885FW models in the United Kingdom.
Samsung says it will introduce Amazon Dash Replenishment for connected Samsung printers and MFPs in other European Union countries next year.
