Kodak Selects LMI Solutions to Sell Kodak Toner Cartridges
Aftermarket toner-cartridge manufacturer and distributor LMI Solutions of Phoenix, Arizona, reports that it’s entered into a brand-licensing agreement with Eastman Kodak under which LMI will resell Kodak’s laser-printer toner cartridges under the Kodak brand name.
LMI Solutions is an R2-certified manufacturer, distributor, and recycler of replacement toner cartridges, remanufactured printers, and related imaging supplies, serving resellers throughout the United States and Canada. LMI distributes more than 1,000 SKUs, including popular OEM products, and is a recognized global leader for managed print services infrastructure and support.
With eight distribution centers strategically located throughout North America, and the doubling of its production capabilities in late 2015, LMI Solutions says it’s “well positioned” to handle the increased demand.
“It’s a completely different go to market model with tremendous upside with a brand name like Kodak,” stated Gary Willert, president and chief executive of LMI Solutions. “We believe today’s online consumers are making value-driven decisions and our partnership with Kodak will deliver a top-quality cartridge from a trusted brand at a lower price than the OEM cartridge.”
“This is a win for both business and personal buyers,” said Bob Taylor, Kodak’s general manager of Electro-Photographic Systems and VP of Print Systems Division. “After a careful selection process, Kodak chose LMI Solutions as a partner with a proven track record of producing the highest quality in the industry, scalable operations, and aligned corporate values.”
