Ricoh Signs on to Sell and Distribute Xante Commercial- and Graphic-Arts Printing Systems
Xante, which markets printers, digital presses, and more for the graphics-arts and commercial-printing industry, and is based in Mobile, Alabama, reports that Ricoh is now selling and distribute Xante products. Ricoh has added Xante’s Digital Multi-Media Press alongside Xante’s patent-pending Enterprise High Speed Feed System to its product line, and Ricoh employees have already begun selling the Impressia Digital Multi-Media Press and Enterprise High Speed Feed System. Xante says the Impressia and Enterprise work together to offer quick changeovers between various media to make it the “best envelope printer in the market.”
The Impressia, which uses a Ricoh-manufactured engine, features print speeds as fast as 78 full color #10 envelopes per minute (4,000 per hour). The Impressia provides full-color printing, with resolutions as high as 2,400 dpi. Users can print on many different media types including uncoated, coated, NCR, cardstock, textured stocks, and more, on sheet sizes from 3.625” (92mm) x 5.125” (130mm) up to 12” (301mm) x 49.6” (1260mm).
Ricoh’s Director of Professional Services and Solutions Marketing, John Fulena states, “Xante is just such a great fit for us. They have an amazing print system and high-speed feeder that will really help us gain ground in the digital envelope printing market. Ricoh’s first-hand experience with the products has produced great results with a quick turnaround time. We’re very excited to introduce it into our current offered product line.”
Robert Ross, founder and CEO of Xante, says, “We are thrilled to be working with such a prestigious company as Ricoh.
