The M4583FX and M4580FX are monochrome laser MFPs powered by a 1 GHZ dual core CPU. Both models are rated at up to 47 ppm. A Dual Scan Document Feeder (DSDF) allows for double-sided scanning at up to 60 images per minute. At the touch screen, users can perform Web searches, print using the touch screen, and preview documents on the touch screen. The touch screen also features pre-loaded applications and widgets, including Copy, Scan/Send, Box, Job Status, Counter, Settings, Build Job, Address Book, and Help. There are also custom widgets for creating instant, one-tap access to frequently used functions. Both models also have an option to add wireless connectivity and active NFC capabilities, the latter of which provides users with the ability to print files by bringing an NFC-enabled smartphone in close proximity to the MFP and using the Samsung Mobile Print App.
