Toshiba TEC Has Leading A3 MFP Market Share in China for 14 Consecutive Years
Toshiba TEC of Tokyo reports that its MFPs have had the highest market share for the past consecutive 14 years in the Chinese A3 MFP market. Toshiba’s A3 MFP market share scored 16.9 percent according to regional industry analyst Key Research Inc.
Although Chinese A3 MFP market growth has declined in 2012, the market took a turn for the better in 2013, and sales of A3 MFPs have increased nine percent from the previous year, with Toshiba TEC A3 MFP sales totaling 553,300 units in 2013.
To hold the number-one MFP market share in China, Toshiba TEC says it’s carefully looked into the market needs, noting that the Chinese market is one of its most important markets. In 2013, the firm introduced the new mono MFPs, the e-STUDIO2505/2506/2507 series, for the Asian market, especially for China, and several Chinese members participated in the product planning.
Isao Sugehara, president of Toshiba TEC Information Systems (Shenzhen), Sales Head Quarters (Shanghai), commented, “We are proud to break the record and be number-one for 14 years. We will improve skills and service levels of all employees to strongly support our customers as well as our business partners. We are committed to being the best solution provider who customers would naturally choose to work with. And we continue to strive to enhance our brand that are appreciated and loved by customers”.
