New LBP7110Cw is First Canon imageCLASS Laser Printer to Provide Wireless Connectivity
Canon U.S.A. is launching two new laser printers, the imageCLASS LBP6200d and Color imageCLASS LBP7110Cw, both designed for personal, home office and small-office users. With the introduction of these devices, Canon says its imageCLASS lineup now offers a complete top-to-bottom desktop laser-printer lineup.
As one of the most compact units in the series, the imageCLASS LBP6200d printer is connected via USB cable and offers a 250-sheet front loading cassette with black-and-white printing at up to 26 ppm. The Color imageCLASS LBP7110Cw printer provides both wireless and mobile connectivity.
The new LBP7110Cw is one of the first imageCLASS laser printer to feature built-in wireless connectivity. Canon is also providing a new software-based wireless setup tool that takes users through the process of finding and connecting to the appropriate network. The LBP7110Cw also offers mobile connectivity, so that users can print directly from a smartphone or tablet through the Canon Mobile Printing app, which is available for free download for Android and iOS devices. The Color imageCLASS LBP7110Cw printer can also be equipped with an optional high-capacity black toner cartridge for higher-volume output levels
The imageCLASS LBP6200d printer features a streamlined design with single-button control panel operation. Both imageCLASS model also feature Canon’s Energy Saver Mode which powers down the printer when not in use so that energy and resources can be saved.
The new imageCLASS LBP6200d and LBP7110Cw will first be available in-store and online at select office superstores in late January at a minimum advertised price (MAP) of $169 and $279 4, respectively. For more information, visit www.usa.canon.com.
