How Wirth Consulting Evaluates Digital-Imaging Equipment
Wirth Consulting has been performing hands-on evaluations of digital-imaging products for over 30 years. Wirth Consulting Product Ratings
Best In Class: The device that receives the highest Overall Score in one of our Head2Head Comparisons receives Best In Class designation.

Outstanding: Indentifies a device that overall is a cut above the rest in when compared to other devices in its class.

Well Worth Consideration: Identifies devices that, although they did not receive the highest Overall Score, still merit considerable consideration, whether because of their competitive pricing, cost per page, device features and/or capabilities, etc. They may not provide all the features or capabilities of the device with the highest Overall Score, but may be very good for particular applications or users, for limited budgets, etc.
Worth Consideration: Identifies devices that typically scored lower than other devices, but still merit consideration, as they may provide good value and feature set, and their limitations may not be an issue for some users.

Not Worth Consideration: Identifies devices that do not measure up compared to other devices in the same class. For instance, cost per page may be much higher, rated print speed may be much slower, or critical features (such as automatic duplexing, network connectivity, touch screen, etc.) may not be provided.
