February 2, 2010 - Ricoh Americas Corporation has introduced its first 11"x17" (A3) desktop laser printer in five years, the Aficio SP 6330N laser printer. Ricoh rates print speed at up to 35 ppm at up to 1200 x 1200 dpi. Specifications are as follows: - Standard Ethernet 10/100Base-TX network connectivity, 466MHz CPU, device-monitoring on the network, network authentication and user-access codes. Supports Microsoft Windows and Apple Macintosh environments. Optional 80-GB hard drive.
- Standard 500-sheet paper drawer and 100-sheet bypass tray. The printer accepts heavier media weights up to 57 lb. bond/120 lb. index, as well as as transparencies, labels, card stocks, and recycled papers.
- The Aficio SP 6330N utilizes an all-in-one toner/drum cartridge rated to yield 20,000 pages, and includes Ricoh's device-monitoring on the network, and security such as network authentication and user-access codes.
- Automated meter reading and fleet reporting tasks for multiple units using Ricoh's @Remote Intelligent Management System.
Pricing is not available for the printer, which Ricoh will distribute through authorized dealers.
