HP Inc. has launched “Happy2Print,” a new mobile-printing app, for users in Europe. The app enables users to wirelessly print from both Android and Apple smartphones and tablets to HP and non-HP printers. Users may print photos, office documents, PDF files, e-mail messages, Web pages, and more.
HP says Happy2Print provides the broadest functionality in the marketplace, was developed by International Paper, and is available for download at no cost for users in Europe while supplies last. Happy2Print was developed by Dynamix Software specifically for HP Everyday Papers.
Users of Apple i-Phones will be able to print Microsoft Office documents, images, photos, emails and attachments, and Web pages. Android users will be able to print all of these, plus contacts, file browsing, calendar, call logs, and text messages.
Android users can connect to printers using WiFi, Google Cloud, Microsoft Windows Shared, Bluetooth, and USB. iPhones users can connect to printers via WiFi and Google Cloud Print. If users can’t cannot print with these options, they can still print with Happy2Print via Google Cloud Print. For more information on Google Cloud Print visit http://www.google.com/cloudprint/learn.
Direct mobile scanning is also available for with select HP All-in-Ones and MFPs.

“… available for download at no cost for users in Europe while supplies last.” Better to download ASAP before the bits dry up. On second thought, is HP talking about the software or European users?
