Ricoh USA today reports that professional football team, the Philadelphia Eagles, has expanded its partnership with Ricoh, both as their official document-solutions provider and as an official partner. With these agreements, Ricoh says its commitment to the Philadelphia market continues to build upon a six-year relationship with the Eagles organization.
The firm says that some of its newest technologies are helping the Eagles “make information work in the evolving world of sports,”such as Interactive Whiteboards and other Workstyle Innovation Technology offerings for streamlining playbook and play-card production.
As a part of Ricoh’s role as the title sponsor of the Post-Game Show, a program watched by Eagles fans looking for a deeper analysis of the day’s action, the hosts use a Ricoh Interactive Whiteboard to annotate video and images to dissect plays, just as coaches do in their meetings. Coaches are able to markup game footage in real-time with players, and securely save and send notes from sessions.
The Eagles also use Ricoh’s production printers to print playbooks and other documents. Through a variety of software solutions, including Ricoh’s @Remote, Ricoh says the Eagles saved nearly 55,000 sheets of paper in October 2016 alone, while improving document security and visibility into print operations. The partnership aksi enables Ricoh to connect with fans with in-venue signage, social media, various messaging opportunities via the Eagles’ mobile app and exclusive VIP hospitality events.
