Dell Imaging recently previewed five new desktop laser-based All-in-Ones for small and mid-size businesses, as well as enterprises, at Dell World 2015 in the United Kingdom, the Colour Cloud Multifunction Printer H825cdw, Colour Cloud Multifunction Printer H625cdw, and Mono Cloud Multifunction Printer H815dw. The new All-in-Ones feature Dell Document Hub, which enables users to scan documents directly to various cloud-based document-storage and sharing Web sites, including Dropbox, Box, Google Drive, and Salesforce. An app for PC and mobile also allows users to download, edit, and print documents stored at these sites, or search all seven at once using a single log-in.

The three H series All-in-Ones feature 4.3″ touchscreens and Dell’s one-click WiFi set-up. The H-Series printers are said to be ideal for IT environments with minimal or no IT support, such as SMBs, remote work spaces, executive offices, and micro-businesses. They feature a single-pass duplexing automatic document feeder for double-sided scanning, as well as NFC (Near Field Communication) connectivity for mobile printing from NFC-enabled mobile devices, with users simply swiping their mobile devices across the All-in-One’s control panel in order to print.

The Mono Smart Multifunction Printer S2815dn and Colour Smart Multifunction Printer S2825cdn are are designed for managed IT environments, such as mid-size businesses, public organizations, and large enterprises, which are generally more security-sensitive. As such, they don’t include cloud connectivity, which, was omitted in order to minimize security issues. Instead, however, there’s direct access to Microsoft’s SharePoint on Premise service for printing from and scanning to company-based servers. They’re also LDAP-enabled with Kerberos user authentication, secure-print release, and SSL/TLS WiFi security.

According to, the H825cdw (£309), H2625cdw (£259) and S2825cdn (£289) will launch in the United Kingdom on October 29th, while the H815dw (£259) and S815dn (£229) will launch on December 17th.

The three new color All-in-Ones also use Dell’s third-generation toner. The new toner is said to consist of smaller, more densely packed particles. Dell says the new toner features a lower melting point, thus requiring less energy to fuse the toner to paper, with the result that energy costs are lower for customers.
