Panasonic System Communications Company of North America reports that four of its mid-volume document scanners, the KV-S1015C-NT, KV-S1026C-NT, KV-S1027C-NT and KV-S1057C-NT, are now available bundled with an annual subscription to partner Neat‘s PC and Mac-compatible Cloud Service Smart Organization System software.
The Cloud Services Smart Organization System enables users to scan and digitize paper documents, such as receipts, business cards, etc., with the Panasonic document scanners, then store them in the Neat cloud-based system, where users can organize them. Since the system’s Web-based, users can then access their stored documents from anywhere via most Apple and Android mobile devices. Neat says files are safeguarded and data is keyword-searchable and can be exported into applications such as Microsoft Excel, Quicken, and TurboTax. The three-year Neat subscription includes up to 45 pages of OCR-searchable scans per month; after that, monthly fees apply.
The new offering can be purchased through authorized Panasonic resellers and at Neat.com, and includes a Three-Year Standard Warranty with advance-exchange services.
Also provided with purchase of the document-scanners and Cloud Services bundle from Panasonic resellers is support, such as set-up and installation, and configuration and training through Panasonic’s authorized document imaging resellers.
