New $69.99 Desktop Document Scanner, Perfection V19, from Epson

Epson Perfection V19February 18, 2015 Epson America is expanding its family of Perfection desktop document scanners with the Epson Perfection V19 ($69.99 MSRP). The compact photo and document scanner scans at up to 4,800 x 4,800 dpi resolution, and features scanning directly to Web-based cloud destinations such as Facebook, Picasa, Evernote, and other cloud services with the included Easy Photo Scan software. Scan speed is rated at up to 10 seconds per letter-size page, and the scanner measures 9.9″ wide x 14.4″ deep x 1.5″ high.

Epson Perfection V19 on KickstandEpson says the Perfection V19 uses LED scannng technology for virtually no warm-up time, and users can scan to computer and email addresses, as well as create PDFs. The scanner also features a built-in kickstand for configuring the scanner so that it stands upright. There’s also a removable lid to accommodate scanning bulky items, such as photo albums, and Epson Easy Photo Fix technology for restoring color to faded photos and to remove dust from scanned originals. No AC adapter is required, as there’s only one USB connection needed for power and connection to a computer.
