December 22, 2014 – ABBYY Europe, a provider of document-recognition, data-capture and linguistic technologies and services, reports that in the future, it’ll be working with Fujitsu, Europe’s largest provider of corporate solutions and services within the IT solutions area. The cooperation will focus on the areas of data-capture and replacement-scanning, and will primarily cover solutions for automating incoming mail processes and automatic invoice processing.
According to ABBYY, successful implementation of a solution in the business-to-business (B2B) area always involves complex requirements and can rarely be dealt with by a single provider. This is why ABBYY is always looking for solution partners that can supplement its portfolio of document-capture solutions, so that customers are offered an overall solution from a single source. With the help of one of Europe’s top IT companies, Fujitsu, ABBYY says it’ll be able to provide complete solutions for incoming mail and invoice processing.

Based on this capture platform, ABBYY provides solutions for the automation of document-centred business processes, which can be used in a wide range of areas within the corporate sphere. ABBYY is therefore expanding Fujitsu’s portfolio with applications for automated invoice processing (ABBYY FlexiCapture for Invoices), for incoming mail classification (ABBYY FlexiCapture for Mailrooms), and also for incoming documents in downstream processes and specialist applications.
