December 4, 2014 – Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. is launching the next generation of its PageScope mobile-printing app, PageScope Mobile iOS App version 4.3, and PageScope Mobile Android App version 4.0.

PageScope Mobile is a downloadable application that connects a Konica Minolta bizhub MFP with mobile devices, allowing end users to browse, read, scan, and print documents and images. Once paired using a Wi-Fi connection, PageScope Mobile enables users to use their business documents in a variety of ways.

In addition to providing support for recently introduced Konica Minolta devices, PageScope Mobile Android App version 4.0 features new integration of Near Field Communications (NFC), a short-range, wireless technology that enables data exchange between NFC-supported devices in close proximity. When a compatible NFC tag is swiped to a Konica Minolta bizhub, PageScope Mobile enables communication with the MFP and provides automatic PageScope Mobile App start-up, printer registration, as well as printing and scanning.

“The updated PageScope Mobile Apps further support our commitment to enabling mobile accessibility to Konica Minolta devices where and when it’s needed” commented Kevin Kern, senior vice president of marketing for Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A.

The PageScope Mobile Apps are available for free download from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store respectively.  Visit the Google Play Store here to download the PageScope Mobile iOS App version 4.3 and here to download PageScope Mobile Android App version 4.0.
