New Ricoh A4 Desktop Color Laser Printers and MFPs with Standard Wireless Connectivity
New from Ricoh Americas are 21-ppm desktop color laser printers and MFPs designed for small offices and corporate workgroups, the SP C250DN ($360 MSRP) and SP C252DN ($550) color laser printers, and SP C250SF ($599 MSRP) and SP C252SF ($550)($899 MSRP) MFPs, all of which feature standard Wi-Fi wireless connectivity, lower energy consumption, print resolution up to 2,400 x 600 dpi, and maximum print size of 8.5″x14″/A4.
The new models also feature the Ricoh Smart Device Print&Scan app, which enables smartphones and tablets (iOS and Android) users to print to and scan from the printers and MFPs via the cloud. Ricoh also says the new printers and MFPs feature lower total electricity consumption (TEC) values, with the printer-only versions consuming 1.37 kWh/week, and the MFPs, which print, copy, scan and fax, consuming 1.48 kWh/week. (TEC is a method of comparing product energy performance via an evaluation of typical electricity consumption [measured in kilowatt-hours] during normal operation over a specified period of time, as specified in the Energy Star Imaging Equipment Test Method.) Both models also meet the latest Energy Star specification for superior energy performance, and the toner cartridges are part of Ricoh’s take-back program.
The SP C250DN, SP C252DN, SP C250SF, and SP C252SF can also be managed in a fleet with Ricoh solutions. See here for specifications and more information on the SP C250DN/SP; here for the SP C252DN; here for the SP C250SF; and here for the SP C252SF MFP.
