OKI Enhances Select MFPs with Google Cloud Print Mobile Printing
OKI Data Corporation of Tokyo reports that it’s enhancing its mobile-printing suite with the addition of Google Cloud Print mobile printing for select OKI MFPs. Google Cloud Print allows users to print documents, including Gmail and Google Docs, from a smartphone, tablet, Chrome device, PC, or any other Web-connected device to OKI’s Google Cloud Print ready MFPs, without physically connecting to the MFP of downloading print drivers. Google Cloud Print requires an Internet connection and a Google Account. A printer firmware update may also be required .
The Google Cloud Print service will initially be available for the OKI MC300 Series and MC500 A4 color MFPs. In the Americas, the following OKI MFPs are Google Cloud Print ready: the MC362w, and MC562w. In the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) regions the following OKI MFPs are Google Cloud Print ready: the MC332dn, MC342dn, MC342dnw, MC352dn, MC362dn, and MC562dnw.

The MC300 Series and MC500 Series combine a powerful feature set, with large paper capacity, fast print speeds, duplex printing and scanning capabilities, digital LED technology and high-definition color output, all in a compact design. The addition of the Google Cloud Print service further strengthens OKI’s mobile print offering, helping end users to print everyday applications from anywhere.
