PrintFleet’s Remote Print-Management Solution now Available for Epson Business-Class Printers
Epson America reports that it’s negotiated an agreement with print-management solution provider PrintFleet under which PrintFleet will provide data-collection for Epson business printers. PrintFleet software is now able to accurately and rapidly collect, analyze and deliver data from Epson’s extensive line of business printers in order to streamline Managed Print Services (MPS) deployments. Epson says its PrintFleet collaboration provides an optimal solution for IT network professionals and dealers working in managed business environments who need to remotely monitor the performance and costs of their customers’ printing and imaging environments.
“Through this joint effort, resellers and distributors can enhance their customer offerings, enabling ease-of-management and the ability to provide more intelligent data collection and analytics of their print environment,” commented Alfredo Soto, group manager of New Printing Solutions at Epson America, Inc. “PrintFleet’s comprehensive and scalable data collection technology enables our reseller partners to deliver new levels of service, ultimately helping increase printing reliability and cost savings.”
Epson and PrintFleet’s new partnership enables both companies to offer PrintFleet’s software and Epson’s line of imaging devices to their respective distribution partners. Epson’s portfolio of business-class color ink-jet printers and All-in-Ones, available through the Epson ImageWay Partner Program, are designed for small to mid-size businesses.
PrintFleet software remotely monitors all of the printing, imaging and copying devices in office environments in real-time, allowing MPS providers to respond immediately to any changes.
“As a marketplace leader, Epson has always delivered high quality, cost-effective business imaging solutions,” commented David Morrow, chief commercial officer for PrintFleet. “The difference now is that both companies’ engineering teams are working together to ensure that PrintFleet’s software collects accurate and comprehensive Epson device data. We are confident this enhanced collaboration will benefit the reseller community with reduced costs, improved service levels and more effective MPS deployments.”
