Page-Coverage Color Cost per Page Plan from Kyocera

Lee Kirkby of Leppert Business Systems discusses an interesting program from Kyocera under which he says some customers can pay for color cost per page based on their color page coverage under a Kyocera program for its new color A3 MFPs. According to Kirkby, the plan is similar to Xerox’s three-tiered color cost per page for its solid-ink ColorCube printers and MFPs.

Under the Kyocera plan, it appears the Kyocera dealer has the option to charge customers according to their amount of color page coverage – low, middle or high – with customers printing low color page coverage charged the least. Read Kirkby’s blog post here.
