Lexmark Wins $50 Million MPS Contract with USDA

Lexmark has a won a five-year Managed Print Services contract with the U.S. Department of Agriculture. It estimates that the five-year blanket purchase agreement has an estimated $50 million value.

Under the program, Lexmark’s MPS program is now available to all USDA agencies worldwide, allowing them to use Lexmark’s complete MPS offerings, including MFP hardware, professional services, output optimization, workflow solutions and business process transformation solutions. The aim of the program is to enable the USDA to streamline its business processes, increase its effectiveness in day-to-day operations and reduce costs for its highly distributed print environments.

USDA agencies will have professional services resources available to assess their output needs, Lexmark’s Print Release document output management solution, and proactive consumables management.
