Epson Updates WorkForce Family with Four New All-in-Ones for Small and Home Offices, Start at $99.99

Epson has updated its WorkForce line of color ink-jet All-in-Ones for small and home offices. The new All-in-Ones start at $199.99 and feature Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n wireless connectivity and print, copy, scan and fax.

  • The WorkForce 435  lists at $99.99 and is rated at 6.3 (black)/3.3 (color) ppm. It includes manual duplexing, 30-sheet automatic document feeder, control panel with two-line LCD text display, and PC fax software. It uses four 126 High-Capacity DuraBrite ink cartridges. The black cartridge lists at $18.04, while each color cartridge (cyan, yellow, and magenta) lists at $15.19. Epson does not provide rated page yields, so cost per page cannot be calculated.
  • The WorkForce 545 is the same as the WorkForce 435 but lists at $149.99, is rated faster at 15.0/7.2 ppm, has a 2.5” color LCD for previewing images, and also uses 127 Extra High-capacity DuraBrite ink cartridges. The black cartridge lists at $28.49, while each color cartridge (cyan, yellow, and magenta) lists at $18.04. Epson does not provide rated page yields, so cost per page cannot be calculated. The WorkForce 545 also adds Epson Connect  for wireless printing from mobile devices.

 

  • The WorkForce 645 (above) is the same as the WorkForce 545 but lists at $199.99, adds automatic duplex printing, is rated at 15.0/7.2 ppm (simplex) and 7.5/4.6 ppm (duplex). It also adds an automatic duplexing document feeder for scanning two-sided originals.

  

  • The WorkForce 845 (above) is the flagship in the series, and is the same as the WorkForce 645, but lists at $299.99, is rated at 15.0/9.3 ppm (simplex) and 7.4/5.4 ppm (duplex). It adds a 7.8” touch panel with soft keys and 3.5” color LCD screen. It also provides the largest standard paper capacity, 500 sheets, via two 250-sheet paper drawers. As with the WorkForce 545, it uses four 127 Extra High-capacity Black and Color cartridges, which are included.
