Kyocera Mita Launches Wide-Format MFP
Kyocera Mita America is introducing the KM-4800w Wide Format Multifunctional Product (MFP). Designed for wide-format applications in sectors such as architecture, engineering, education, government and construction, this system can produce D-size prints at up to 5.8 ppm at up to 600 dpi.
The new MFP, which incorporates B&W network printing, network scan and copying, is based on a controller equipped with a 2.6 GHz CPU, 512 MB of memory and an 80-GB hard drive. It’s also equipped with dual 500-foot media rolls that hold media up to 36 inches wide, and a single-sheet bypass tray. For device and job monitoring, Kyocera Mita provides its Web-based Remote Web Manager. Color network scanning is available as an option. Other options include an auto staker capable of holding up to 200 sheets for high-volume environments.
